26th of April . 22 years of a Neo Satán

Twenty two years of the biggest fascist "atentado" was remembered a few ago.

The kernel of the nuclear reactor of Chernobyl, was completlely destroyed, as well the trust on the atomic energy generation and thouthsend of ucranian hearts.

Everything starded some time ago.

Lets review a few of the history.

On 15th March 1945, president Franklin Roosvelt spoke to his secretary of war, Henry Stimpson, about the problems on using the atomic weapon that was being developed for military porpuse.

Roosvelt had previously spoke with Stalin, who compromised on sending Russia to war againts Japan two or three months after the war with Germany has ended.

Roosvelt´s detractors thought that this aproche would be negative for EEUU interests.

On 12th April 1945, Roosvelt dies. Many says because of brain cancer. Others say that he was "set apart" by the "new world order".

A few days later, on 2nd of May, Berlin surrended and the war with Germany ended. The 7th of May, German general Jodl signs the surrender.

That 7th of May, the EEUU did the first nuclear blast test, showing the power lost in the battlefields, place where the Soviets had demostrated his supremacy.

Before Stalin went after the japaneses, the new president of the EEUU,"nombre" ignoring the explicit recomendation of Eisenhower and the implicit recomendation of MacArthur, asumes the responsability of using the most terrify weapon ever used against population. On 6th August 1945, the first nuclear hostility is droped over Hiroshima.

Having seen its brutality, the 9th of agost a bigger bomb is droped over Nagasaki.

The history says Japan has surrended on the 15th of august. It is said that the negotiations were performed previous to the 6th of Agust, so that´s why it was determined to bomb Japan. EEUU could not let pass the oportunity to demostrate its power, and so the new world order.

From that point on, all the conflicts where ruled under the nuclear threat. Nowadays, it is common to hear plans of bombing nuclear reactors in Corea and Iran, as well as in any other country that is against to the politics of the new order.
This part of the history can not be unknown, not even be analized apart of what happend that 26th of April,|1986.
Many says that the Russian themselves have exploted Chernobyl on porpuse. Other says it was a a sabotage of anglo-american new order.
However, what has happened is well known. There were human errors, as well as tecnichal errors.

The 25th of April 1986 at 23 pm, the potency of the reactor was slow down to 1%,inducing a negative reactivity, increasing the concentration of Xe131 bigger. They removed quickly all the control bars on the kernel. The potency suddenly increased to 7% and the additional stop system was disconnected.

At 1:22 am, they decided to disconnect one turbine on the steam line, suppously to perform a security test at the plant. So steam bubbles were formed into the kernel. The steam absorbs less neutrons than the liquid water. Thus, the power of the core was fired up.

It´s supposed that 1 minute before the disaster, an operator tried to put the bars on the kernel in order to stop the reaction, but it was useless.

For example, to remove the bars of the Argentinean old RA-1 designed in mid-1957, takes 50 minutes, and only 700 milliseconds to introduce them.

The fact is that at 1:23 am, the steam detonated the shields, leaving the kernel of the reactor 4 at Chernobyl, without refrigeration, causing what everybody knows.

Today, all these steps are not allowed to be performed at the same time in any reactor arround the world. Therefore there is no possibility that it happens again, as well as that engineers play with a nuclear reactor as if they were children.

The fact is that because of these "bad uses of nuclear energy" and as "terrorist countries can use nuclear weapons indiscriminately" only the big power-countries can use the plutonium cycle, the cycle that can create inexhausted energy from uranium and thorium. Meanwhile less-developed countries, as they call us, can only use slightly enriched uranium. Not even highly enriched uranium. Making the process of obtaining energy more expensive.

Whoever controls the energy and water, finally, controls populations.
The truth of what happened, may never be known. What is known is what we see.

While some lines of train in argentina are cancelating the trains that carry people who works of collecting cardboard, pappers and some plastic, the train UGOFE / LSM keeps improving wagons to carry them.

Today another death must be celebrated. One passenger less, one father will be missed.

If we see an advertising saying "don´t swimg, piranhas" we do take some care.

The advertisings says "don´t go into the train if it´s moving". So much few people take that advertising as a serious thing, and the most of us does it anyway.

This is what I saw.

A body in the rails.
A split of beer at the platform, and some broken glasses.
The train stoped some few meters ago this scene, at 23:10 hs.
Another train stoped on the next stop.

I think that what had happened is that this men, goes down on a rush for buying some beer. An habitual scene.
Then, with the fresh beer he jumped on the train, but he lands on the rails insted. An error. A big error that couldn´t be repaired.
I don´t know if this is the real story, but something like this must be.

We must take this things must seriuosly.

It´s not 30 of march, neither the name of a guerrilla unit.

$31.976.561,34 argentine pesos (U$S 10.315.019) is the amount designed to build a tunnel on the aveniuees Dorrego and the rails of the train San Martín.

It´s very important to do works like this, but it seems a lot of money.

Time to build it : 450 days
That is the cost of materials, workers, and earnings.$71.059,02 of pesos by day,(U$S 22.922)

I don´t know if it´s a lot of money, or a bit of it, but i will find out it.

I told him that i choose the same Kanji. Not for the sell-by-date of our candys, but for the general life and condition here on Argentina.

The Railroad and the economy

City of buenos aires, is begining some works on the aveniue Dorrego, 2 o 3 weeks ago.The work will demand between 12 a 15 months, it´s for doing some tunnel to make vehicules go faster on this zone.

Similar works are beeing hoped on the rest of the crossroads of rails and streets.

When we where kids we all used to play as if we "where in war"

So, at first sight, this image was very tender for me.

Two kids, playing as if they where in a battlefield, and when the train pass by they throw stone to it, and shout "we hit it!".

Luego seguí caminando y pensé. "Si realmente tiran con fuerza, y el tren pasara por la vía mas cercana, quizás sería una tragedia"

A la cuadra volví para decirles "niños es peligroso para otra gente lo que hacen" pero los chicos ya estaban dentro de las vías tirandole piedras a botellas, y no tuve las ganas de bajar e ir hasta ellos. Quizás, mi actitud despreocupada y desentendida fue lo peor de la jornada.

Pero congoja me causó al llegar a casa y leer en el blog amigo de un grano en el orto que justamente, una nena fue apedreada y por ello tuvo que pagar la empresa de transportes TBA.

En realidad nadie debería pagar, porque las cosas, simplemente,no deberían suceder.

That´s why I´m going to tell you which is my feeling about it.

The train must be the principal way of transportation in every country.
The train is the traveling way, with the lowest rate of accidents

As well as we have much more public transportation, less deads we will have and less use of hospitals because of this cause.
If you go by train, someone else drives. So your trip became more relaxing and you can listen to music, read a book, or do the activity you want.
¿How can I hate the trains??

The hurting feeling is because nothing have been done from the day that the railways were created.

The train i use to travel is the "General San Martín". I can´t speek of some other trains.

I used to travel when I was a little kid. I was stealed, because the train was no safe. I also remember that the train have a night service.
When a teenager, I couldn´t use it because it was very dangerous. The train has no timing and the people used to travel even on the roofs, as now in the "Belgrano Sur"
Nowadays, you can use the train again. In the morning, the delay is about 2 minutes only. And I can now, take photos on the train, with a very low risk.

There are some advances. Almost the 50% of wagons are reparated. Painted, oiled and welded.

From ´70s the electrification of the trains is an unresolved theme. From ´80s, the unresolved theme is the electric doors. It´s not so much what we ask about.

I fight for a better service. I fight for more trains, for a few walking passes at the level of the rails. I also fight for the returning of the night service. For diferential services with some places where you can transfer from one train to another.

Places for transfer.

A good plan is to make a transfer station on Saenz Peña. There is a lot of space to make non-stop trains ´till Saenz Peña.
If a trains is delivered from Retiro and do a nonstop ´till Saenz Peña, only people that goes to the suburbs can use that train.
If two trains are delivered at the same time, one as a suburban train, and the other stoping only in the stations of the mayor city, both citizen will have a better service.

This small change is so easy to do, because there in Saenz Peña there are a lot of rails and changes of rails, where the locomotive can maneuver.

¿And what about a service to Mercedes?

¿And if Mercedes where only at 45 minutes by train, the same time now is used in the service Hurlingham-retiro?
In that case i´ll have my truck garden.

¿And what about a line, as an H letter, that units Haedo with Martin Coronado ?
¿And another one between Lacroze-Moron?
I see it far, far away. The railways exists, the service....not.

The main problem is that every goverment sees the train as a cost for the state.
Here we don´t undestand that it makes oportunities, it makes money, and it makes cities too.

Imagine, that, as in China, Pilar were only at 8 minutes of Retiro. Or 15 minutes. Doesn´t want you to live far away from the mayor city?
Would you go to work by car?

The way we travel.

This week, Telenoche blog was taking care about Trains

It all began with a video sent by a teacher showing how his pupils go to school.

Then, I send a video of my own, where i show how the people travel as a "bunch of grape of wine" (cabrón ®) but indeed, we do not travel on the roofs.
It´s because a lot of people have lost their lives on a bridge on the station Morris.

Telenoche has called UGOFE, and they have said "we will take a better control of the train Belgrano Sur".

We can see the control, here, in this new video.

A lot of people have said "this kids travel like that, because they want to". Surely, that people have never travelled on a public transportation here in Argentina, neither to woke up early in the morning to go by train to they works, and surely not to go back home when every minute you last is stolen from your sleeping time.

In this new video, i show how a lady and her granddaughter has no chance to go into the train in a civiliced way. Then, a kid climb on it with the train moving, and a nun must run for a place.

This is the way we travel in Argentina. Videos are "amateurs". I invite the people to speek less and to go to any train station at rush hour to see how the real situation is.

And the Bus, they are much more worst. There are a few videos of them, because no one is taking care of that sitaution.

A friend of mine at Japan, told me that there, the government knew very well that transportation was the heart of Tokio. If transportation slows 5 minutes, then all the city slows down 5 minutes.

We are not in the "first world". Sometimes i feel, like being outwited.

Mi little knowledge about beers does not go far from remember some trademarks. Eventhough, this pizzería has the unique particularity tipe of beer " 1 pizza at your choice and one veer" (a grammatical error!)

I always loved cartoons. They are so much funny, as this image.

But i´m going to use this image for a much more serius thing.

The general state of railways (the banked ones)

The railways of the train "Gral. San Martin" are very badly.
I can´t say this as in words of an engenieer, but in the mouth of a passenger that travel every day, as if i go in an old carriage.

It´s very funny because you go on the train, shaking from one side to another. A lot of people goes sleeping on the trip, and you see they go with the heads as headbanging.

Having no tecnic tools, i used the gimp program just to edit some photos, to let you see what I saw "alive". The railways are deformated.

I put this first photo, which was tooked at the station Devoto, just to demostrate that there are places where the rails are straight, and that gimp doesn´t deformate the image.

This 2 photos are at station Saenz Peña. If you enlarge the image, you can see the rail that is wavy.

Having a talk with a friend in Japan, who couldn´t believe my photos and vids, and having explained to her that there where places where the train goes by at a velocity of "human walk", she said :
"OMG that is wild! I cannot believe that those passengers hold on like that or just jump onto the train. That really is amazing! Does it feel safe or do you feel like you are holding on for your life?"
I´ve explained to her that the 55.4 km that the train does, lasts about an hour an 20 minutes. There are some parts where the train goes at 12 km/h (take a look to the photo) because the rails are very badly.

I think she would not came to argentina, or at least she now doesn´t want to.
So, i remembered when i was 16, and we used to jump from the train to the rails in one part of the railway.
So, 13 years later, i tooked my cammera and went there to see how the rail was.
